Day 6-12th - I will be on the move today after spending a few days (ok 6 days!) with some great friends and their loving family. The Keller's were everything I knew they were, kind, warm and helpful. Thanks to Jamie Lee for giving up her room so I could rest my old crinkly bones!! Taking Jimmy for a walk down the Elbow River where Ralph has a great little spot, I was able to float about 300-400 yards down a glacier fed river which was cold. After the initial shock, I went up the river with Jimmy and rode the Elbow 2 more times!!! what a feeling of being taken down stream by the powerful river currents.

I did some shopping for small things and also got a chance to give the Vee an oil change and give her the once over. Nothing about her has let me down so far...what a machine. Feeding the troops here was always interesting as we all worked to do our share as Austin was showing his prowess around the BBQ with T-Bones, Chicken and amazing homemade burgers!!! When the food hit the tables, it was a scene of controlled chaos. Last night was fresh salmon with rice and steamed carrots with broccoli....mmmmmmmm good (I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed cooking it!).

Thanks to Heather for letting me tag along on her daily routine of shuffling her kids to/from work and such so that I could see if I can get my GoPro H2 camera repaired or exchanged.....My first stop after leaving today will be going to Canmore and get an exchange free of charge thanks to the Source!!!!!! Great customer service (Thanks Derick).

I had a great time here, late nights with Campfires roaring, catching up with Ralph and Heather, having Jeff come by and seeing him once again was a real treat...I think we got into some deep conversations on how to solve the worlds problems and wondering about little blue creatures visiting us :) I hope you enjoy your new bass guitar Jeff, and send me a sample of your recordings when the time is right.  Also, send me the link to your blog, I would love to follow once I get home.

Thanks Ralph and Heather for opening up your home and your hearts to me, it was great seeing you all once again!!!  This is not a goodbye, just a 'see you later' as I will make it up to Edgewood!!! Peace and Love. Rick.
