Day 5: Rode for almost 7 hrs today.....The start switch on the bike is starting to go....hmmmmm.People at the campground are nice, Free Firewood!!! Not happy with my playlist today.....just as well, was hard focusing on the windy conditions and 2 hrs of rain.....had to stop and dry my feet off and wring out my socks....its ok, fresh boots with no socks did the trick :) Pics to follow once I find a hotspot tomorrow.

Don't assume its the start switch, the starter solenoid is usually the first to go. i don't remember where that was on your bike tho.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip, and i figured it out. Looks like the clutch saftey switch needs a good cleaning as it only works when i slowly press the clutch half was. If i pull on the clutch, i hear a click but pulling in the clutch all the way in it does not engage properly...gonna be making it to calgary and stay there for a couple days so will have a better look then, thanks again.
